Once again, the time for battle had come to the ring. Last time it was the machines who did battle for dominance, and a victor was decided. There was a winner called Cell, and once again all was quiet again, until now, of course.
The flash of light burned the darkness away that surrounded the ancient ring, again two warriors appeared in the opposite corners of the arena. But this time, they instantly knew one another. There was a fierce hate in their eyes. The first one had Green skin that was tight with muscles of untold strength, indeed it was legendary in his world, but most just called it simply incredible. Indeed this behemoth was truly incredible, he could fight for days on end with out getting tired, he is fulled with rage and the more rage that is inspired the greater the power that comes with it. The monster, he is sometimes called heals nearly instantly from every attack, he can jump hundreds of miles with one single bound, he is nearly invincible. He is the Hulk.
However. In the opposite side, that hate had a legitimate reason, for this armor clad being could have been mistaken for a tree, he was absouletly massive in appearance. This powerhouse had strength to rival the Gods themselves, and defeat them on even ground. While the Hulk's power came from science gone horribly wrong, This being's source of power...came from the supernatural forces of pure magic. This being would never know pain, would never be stopped or know defeat through physical combat. Immune to even death itself it would seem, this man was unstoppable, for he is called the Juggernaut.
The two of them knew each other at once, but how they got here to this strange place they didn't know, or for that matter didn't care. Both of them had been itching for another test of strength. The hosts of the ring did not even need to play out the rules. The forces of the infinite were now once again going to collide.
It was the Juggernaut, fearless and terrible in his aggression that made the first move, and once he started to move in a direction, nothing could possibly stop him from his objective. The Hulk was well aware of this fact however and just smiled, this wouldn't be as easy as before and with a single leap, he overshot the Juggernaut completely. The hulk was still intelligent, using skills and knowing that a direct assualt would be useless. Hulk tore one of the spires that were on each corner of the ring, made of some unknown metal, and tore it from its base.
Juggernaut turned around just in time to get a face full of metal. The power behind this attack would have put down the strongest of beings, but to this one all it did was break over his domed helmet, he was not moved an inch. "Is this all you have, you seem weaker then from before," was his only reply to the attack. It was a failure, Hulk knew it would be, but the words were enough to piss him off, he could feel his power slowly growing inside.
Cain was not content with mere words though. He was faster then he looked and with in seconds that massive fist somehow completely blindsided Hulk, and connected with his Jaw. And with one singular strike from the Juggernaut, the Hulk's jaw shattered. Searing pain burned through the green monster, the healing was already beginning when the next strike from the right fist was in coming. Hulk was smart enough to get out of the way. The pain was enough to make him get serious about this, with a quick counter attack a jade knee went into the easy target the Juggernaut's stomach made.
It knocked him back, clear across the ring. It had alot of force but it did no damage. Cain just smiled. This was going to be an easier battle then he had thought it would. Hulk was already on him though. A single leap was enough to make the distance between them closed in an instant. Hands locked in a grapple that every wrestler on earth would envy. Hulk realized is horrible mistake instantly.
Juggernaut's grip was too powerful, and he squeezed his hands. With this action the bones in Hulk's hands began to snap as if they were nothing more then twigs on the ground. "When ever you wanna give up...just let me know," He smiled and said to his already beaten foe. But then his eyes turned from glee, to an almost state of shock. Juggernaut's arms began move under not his will, but the Hulk's! The snapping of the bones was painful, but it was also a great source of anger. "Hulk is strongest there is!" With a sudden movement the interlocking fighters momentum suddenly changed! Hulk threw his enemies arms to the side and with a terribly strong headbutt, the Juggernaut went flying backwards through a long since dead grove of trees that surrounded the ring.
The sky lit up with mystical energies that would resemble electricity. Juggernaut rose from the ground, shocked at such an impossible feat was accomplished, but unharmed. He rose just in time to look up too see a descending shadow coming right at him. No time to react, two green fists came slamming down on the top of the helmet. The ground gave way under him and the Juggernaut was thrust into the ground like a nail to the waist. Cain was largely shocked, but he got over it. Hulk intended to take his head off with the helmet with a kick to the face, but it was not to be as that foot was grabbed and completely twisted around. The force of that move twisted Hulk's leg and broke it.
Screaming in pain and rage for a moment was all the distraction Cain needed to free himself from the shallow grave, he decided it was time to end this contest and prove once and for all he was truly the strongest one there was. The brutality of what followed would even make the most violent addicted minds cringe and look away. Cain put all the strength he could call on and thrust them both into the Hulk's stomach, literally inside of him. He was going to tear the Hulk to pieces, there would be no regeneration from this. No coming back. Green blood gushed out from the wound, it covered Cain and the ground around them.
Hulk sensed death, but this wasn't right. He couldn't lose to this thing, this magical freak, no. Then he snapped. What guiding force he may have had slipped away into a complete and mindless rage. Before Cain could successfully disembowel his enemy, his enemy's hands came up and with a violent left hook to the side of the face, Cain was dislodged and completely removed from the savage beast. It stood up and was completely healed now, but its eyes only showed the monster within.
Hulk slammed his hands together with force, the effect came as it was desired and the thunder that came from this was enough to not hurt the Juggernaut, but it was enough to deprive him of his hearing. It was a distraction, all the monster would need. Soon the Hulk was slamming his fists into the helmet, each attack was growing stronger, Cain was beginning to feel it now, and when he was beginning to feel anything that might resemble pain, it was time to end it, now.
Despite all of his power, Cain was still stronger even at this point of the battle. And now he was going to end it. Juggernaut put all of his power once again into a mid section attack. It landed and the hulk doubled over in pain, it was already going away though as the broken ribs were mostly healed mere seconds after the attack, but then the second attack came when an elbow came down on the back of the neck. It would have broken had Hulk not fallen with the attack.
Cain took the advantage and lifted the fallen beast up once more. "Goodbye, monster." And with a toss to rival any god or super powered being on almost any world, Hulk was space bound at a speed to easily break gravity's hold. Hulk, though had no intention of being tossed into space. And decided to go back to the ground. At the edge of the planet's air, another force changing clap was made and instantly, the momentum was changed.
The hulk was big, and was re entering the atmosphere at terminal velocity. And there was only one target he had in mind.
There was a strange screaming sound coming from above him. "No, it couldn't be.." Juggernaut turned to look up and behind him just in time to see a flaming beast coming straight at him. That fist slammed into his helmet, and the Juggernaut was hit, directly with more force and fury then even he thought possible. But the angle of the attack did not send him into the ground, but rather he was deflected off the ground and went flying skywards and away from the Hulk.
Not more then 5 minutes later Juggernaut landed in the middle of a strange city, he was shaken. The Hulk had never been this vicious before, but then again he had never tried to kill him before either. Then the hulk was landing behind him, the ground shook violently and people went running. There seemed to be no winner to this battle yet.
Juggernaut may have been strong, But he never had a mountain range fall on him and had to hold it up, Hulk's strength was truly unlimited and there was a horrible rage there that was not ever seen before. It was underestimated. Cain went to attack the monster and finish him for good this time, but there was an uppercut that came in response for that. This attack had millions of tons of power behind it, this was a rage that the entire earth was afraid of, and for good reason.
Juggernaut's helmet came off with that strike and his entire body was thrown into the air like a rag doll. Every window in a ten mile radius was shattered due to the shock wave. Cain's body collapsed to the ground, it was with out motion.
The powers that be had been pleased with this battle, and a flash of light later and both of the fighters were missing from a now very scared and confused city that was no where near the planet earth.
